- Application for Official Number, Call Sign and
Registration of Vessel
- Proof of Authority of Agent or officer executing
registration documents (e.g. Power of Attorney or Corporate Resolution)
- Proof of Ownership such as a Bill of Sale or Builder’s
Certificate
- Suitability for Intended Use Certificate of Survey
issued by an Authorized Surveyor or Statement of Compliance, if not classed
- Proof of Hull and Machinery and Liability Coverage /
Cover Note
- Consent of Government of present registry to transfer
vessel or Cancellation Certificate
- Proof that the vessel is free of recorded liens and
encumbrances
- Declaration of Private Use
- Tonnage Measurement
Commercial
Yachts
Application for Official Number, Call Sign and
Registration of Vessel
Proof of Authority of Agent or officer executing
registration documents (e.g. Power of Attorney or Corporate Resolution)
Proof of Ownership such as a Bill of Sale or Builder’s
Certificate
Confirmation of Class issued by classification society
(if the commercial yacht is under 500 GT, a Certificate of Survey or Statement
of Compliance issued by an authorized surveyor will satisfy this requirement)
Proof of Liability Insurance, including owner’s
repatriation obligations
Consent of Government of present registry to transfer
vessel or Cancellation Certificate
Proof that the vessel is free of recorded liens and
encumbrances
ISM Code Declaration of Company and Designated person
(this applies to commercial yachts over 500 GT) / ISPS Code Declaration
Copy of current Continuous Synopsis Record (CSR)
document
Application of Minimum Safe Manning Certificate
Within 90 days of registration an Application for a
National Radio Station License
